Ultra-compact and portable, StrikeAlert warns you of lightning strikes up to 64 kilometers away!
An audible alarm and four corresponding LEDs combine to indicate how far away the lightning is (39 to 64 kilometers, 19 to 39 kilometers, 10 to 19 kilometers, or within 10 kilometers).
StrikeAlert can also determine if a storm is approaching, departing, or stationary. The detector is housed in an impact-resistant, pager-like casing that clips to your belt, golf bag, or backpack. The unit shuts off after two hours without lightning detection, and two AAA batteries (included) provide up to 100 hours of operation
